Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodised Cookware

The Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodised products are manufactured using only the highest grade raw aluminum which then goes through a hard-anodisation process, a process which is responsible for setting Calphalon Commercial products apart from the rest.

These hard-anodised surfaces are nonporous and can be considered non-stick. The hard-anodising process locks or seals the cooking surface thus making it non-reactive to any raw ingredient and most foods. You can be assured that the taste, color or texture of your food will not be altered during cooking.

The shape of Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodised cookware is achieved by spinning and drawing the metals, not by casting.
Calphalon Commercial Hard Anodised cook wares are fitted with heat-resistant cast-stainless steel handles which remain comfortable to touch even if the vessel is steaming hot.

For products that come with lids, the lids are made of hard-anodised aluminum as well. These dome-shaped covers are, like the main cooking implement, stick and scratch resistant, as well.

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodised cookery can be used on any cooking surface: from ceramic, to gas-heated and electric-heated cook tops. In addition, these can be placed inside ovens (up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit).

Cleaning of Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodised cookery is not at all difficult. Because of the non-stick surface, dirt and grime can easily be wiped off using a soft dishcloth. To remove stubborn particles, simply soak the item in lukewarm to hot water for 10 minutes, before wiping the surface. Washing the product in a dishwasher is not recommended as the chemicals of the dishwashing detergent may scratch and do damage to the product’s surface.

Like all Calphalon products, each Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodised Cookware piece is covered by a lifetime warranty against factory and manufacturer’s defects. Damages brought about by improper use, cleaning, handling or storage are not covered by the warranty, and renders the policy void.
